Ikegami to show latest 4K and HD product range at CABSAT 2019
Neuss, 25 February 2019. Ikegami will demonstrate the latest additions to its broadcast product range at the March 12th-14th 2019 CABSAT exhibition in Dubai's World Trade Centre. Featuring on the Ikegami stand, D3-20 in Hall 3, will be four cameras (UHK-430, HDK-99, HDK-73 and HDL-45E) and the new HQLM-3125X 31 inch 4K/HD master grade monitor.
Ikegami's new HQLM-3125X is a 31 inch 4K/HD master grade monitor supporting BT 2020 UHD, HDTV, HDR and SDR. It is equipped with two 12G-SDI input channels as standard for efficient configuration with 4K equipment such as cameras and switchers. 3G-SDI, HD-SDI and HDMI inputs are also provided as standard. The monitor employs a 4096 x 2160 pixel UHD LCD panel with LED backlighting. The Dual-LCD- Layer technology enables this display to reproduce high resolution 4K and 2K images with a contrast of 1,000,000:1 and a luminance of 1,000 nits across the entire screen.
The HDK-99 is a docking-style camera for portable and studio applications. It employs three 2.6 megapixel CMOS image sensors delivering high picture quality in HDR at 1920 x 1080 resolution with progressive-scan. Processed 4K can be sourced from the camera control unit. Integral to the HDK-99 is the Ikegami AXII processor which allows fast and precise colour matching for live multi-camera applications. A lens aberration correction function minimises resolution loss and coloured edging caused mainly by optical lens deviation. Quick EZ Focus Assist enhances the viewfinder signal, enabling the camera operator to make critical focus adjustments. Area size, area colour, edge colour and display time on the viewfinder are all adjustable from the camera menu.

The HDK-73 is a dockable multi-role high-definition camera designed for standard-dynamic-range and HDR broadcast production. It is available as complete system including CCU, connecting fibre, viewfinder and remote control. Image capture is to 2/3-inch 2.6 megapixel CMOS sensors, each capable of 1920 x 1080 resolution images with an extremely wide dynamic range of 1,000% in HDR mode, high sensitivity (F13 at 50 Hz) and high signal-to-noise ratio. Major features include full digital signal processing, advanced digital detail correction with independent horizontal and vertical correction of red, green and blue signals, and optional anti-moiré filtering.
The HDL-45E is a 1.5G robotic point-of-view camera with three 2/3-inch 2.3 megapixel AIT CCDs, LSI digital processing and 14-bit A/D conversion. It is designed for remote-control applications such as news and weather presentation. An integral four-position optical filter can be operated from various remote panels including independent control of ND and ECC filtering.
