Latvian Television places additional large order for Ikegami monitors

Latvian Television, Latvia's national public service TV broadcaster,  has ordered 44 Ikegami ULE-217R video monitors for installation at its headquarters in Riga. The contract was negotiated via Ikegami's business partner, Tilts Integration Systems, an equipment supplier with long experience of the Baltic broadcast market.

"We use Ikegami ULE-215 and ULE-217R video monitors very widely in our production studios and nonlinear editing suites," comments Arnis  Seibe, Technical Director of Latvian Television. "These monitors are very stable and have high reliability. They have very good technical parameters and offer very good value for their price. These were key considerations when we made this purchase decision. The new monitors have been purchased to assist in broadcast coverage of The Latvian presidency of Council of the European Union."

Latvia TV is using around 80 monitors ULE-215/217R in different production areas.

A professional multi-purpose 21.5 inch high definition display, the Ikegami ULE-217R can be used as a 1920 x 1080-native picture monitor or as a PC screen. Features include an energy-efficient LED-backlit screen with anti-reflection coating, 3D comb filtering and de-interlace, HDCP-encrypted secure connection and integral stereo loudspeakers. 3G/HD/SD-SDI, composite, HDMI, DVI and VGA (RGB-PC) are incorporated. The ULE-217 has a VESA interface allowing it to be rack-mounted, wall-mounted or used on a desk-top.
